Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service and explains, in more detail, what you can't do with TrackAndList.com ("TrackAndList," "we," "us"). It applies to everyone who uses the site, including anyone who connects a third-party account like eBay.

Prohibited listings and content

Don't use TrackAndList to track, describe, or list:

  • Counterfeit, stolen, or otherwise illegal-to-sell items.
  • Anything you don't have the right to photograph, describe, or sell.
  • Photos or descriptions that infringe someone else's copyright or trademark.
  • Content that's deceptive -- e.g. a card description or grade you know to be false.
  • Content unrelated to tracking or listing a collectible (e.g. using the Photos field or Notes as general-purpose file storage, spam, or anything explicit/illegal).

If you believe something uploaded to TrackAndList infringes your copyright, see our DMCA / Copyright Policy for how to submit a takedown notice.

Prohibited conduct

Don't:

  • Try to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data, or to any non-public part of the site.
  • Probe, scan, or test the site's security, or attempt to bypass rate limits, account limits, or authentication.
  • Scrape, bulk-extract, mirror, or resell data or content from the site.
  • Upload malicious code, or use the site to distribute malware.
  • Create accounts through automated means, or create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or a limit.
  • Impersonate another person or organization, or use the site to harass, threaten, or abuse anyone.
  • Interfere with the site's normal operation -- e.g. excessive automated requests that degrade it for other users.

Automated features ("Auto-identify" and eBay listing)

Auto-identify and the eBay-listing integration call paid, rate-limited third-party APIs on your behalf. Use them for your own personal inventory at normal, human-driven volume -- not to batch-process someone else's inventory, resell access to these features, or otherwise run them at a volume meant to extract value beyond organizing your own collection.

If you connect your own eBay seller account, you're also bound by eBay's own User Agreement and selling policies. We may restrict or revoke a feature's access for your account if eBay or another third-party provider tells us it's been misused, independent of any action we take ourselves.

Enforcement

Depending on the severity, a violation of this policy may result in removal of the content involved, loss of access to a specific feature (like Auto-identify or eBay listing), or suspension or termination of your account -- see Terms of Service. Where practical we'll try to warn you first, but we may act immediately for serious or repeated violations.

Reporting a violation

If you believe someone is misusing TrackAndList -- including a listing that looks counterfeit, stolen, or otherwise prohibited above -- email support@trackandlist.com with as much detail as you can (what you saw, and where). We review every report.

Changes to this policy

As TrackAndList grows, this policy will be updated to reflect new features or new ways the site gets misused. We'll update the date at the top of this page when that happens.
